Our History

Since it’s humble beginnings years ago with seniors just wanting to get together it has withstood many changes over the years to where it is today. Since July 1, 2011 it has been a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by Officers and a Board of Directors and managed by a Coordinator. It has been increasing steadily both in the number of participants and in the number of programs offered since 2014. It has grown to the point of now needing a part-time Coordinator Assistant. All other work here is done by volunteers with a large volunteer group of over 40 people. We now have well over 300 seniors that participate. We operate through grants, donations and fundraisers.
