You will be greeted here at the Thurmont Senior Center with a friendly face and a warm smile. Be prepared for fun and laughter while visiting us. We look forward to seeing you. We are a place to come have a great lunch and find laughter and friendship. You are never too old to make new friends.
We would love for you to join us for a free balance and strength exercise session daily, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday beginning at 11:00-11:45. We play Pinochle on Tuesday at 1:00, We have Bunko on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 1:00 and Farkle on the 4th Thursday at 1:00. Thursday’s at 12:30 we are playing dominoes We also play Bingo every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month, if we have a 5th Wednesday, we have a special Bingo. It is always a fun time full of laughter and special homemade treats for halftime. I can’t forget to mention coffee we are told it is the best, so come in and have a cup with us. Friday’s, we have Zumba we also offer Poker and 500.
As a reminder with winter weather setting in, if Frederick County Public Schools are closed the Thurmont Senior Center is Closed. If there is a two-hour school delay, we open on time.
Don’t forget the Thurmont Senior Center is available to rent for different activities such as a baby shower, a birthday party or a bridal shower.
